Beyond the social buzz of our common areas, our interiors reflect the soul of the island—warm wood, breezy layouts, and a relaxed atmosphere. We’ve created a space where you can actually unpack, settle in, and stay a while. It’s more than just a bunk; it’s your corner of Siargao.

I honestly don’t even know where to start with Sinag Hostel… I came here as a volunteer and ended up gaining a second family along the way. No dramatic “I can’t leave” story, just pure gratitude for the time I got to spend here. This place isn’t just a hostel, it’s a small, chaotic, loving, slightly sleep-deprived but incredibly charming family that adopts you immediately. From day one, I felt welcomed, included, and somehow convinced to stay up way too late having deep talks and laughing about whatever. The community here is something special. The kind of people you meet once and somehow it feels like you’ve known them forever. I had the most beautiful time, met the most wonderful souls, and created memories I’ll probably still talk about for a long time. But I'm Pretty sure I'll come back and there will be more. Thank you for the late nights, the random adventures, the inside jokes, the shared meals, and the friendships that definitely won’t end here, the beautiful and hard work here. So much love to everyone at Sinag. You guys are magic, see ya. ❤️

Have you ever watched a prank video that backfired? Because it just happened to me, in the best way possible. My stay in Sinag Hostel was supposed to be temporary. 4 nights, a place where I can hide while I'm prepping a surprise for a friend's birthday. But this hostel won't settle for being temporary. The owner, managers, and even fellow guests will give you one hell of a good time that you'll have no choice but go back. So I gladly went back and my 4 night stay turned into 2 weeks. Then Covid19 happened, that's where my surprise birthday trip backfired. Almost all of the businesses were closing, but in true Sinag fashion, they kept the hostel open to help stuck tourists like me on the island. All that they're supposed to do is give us a place to stay, but they gave me a new standard of "going above and beyond". Grocery runs for each guest, kept everyone entertained by coming up with games, checked that all guests are in before curfew hits, and even went as far as making sure that everyone's eating healthy without spending too much. I haven't even scratched the surface of everything that they've done for us during the lockdown. A pandemic was happening, but Suzie, Isa, Rain, and everyone that I met in Sinag made me feel grateful that my plan backfired and got stuck with these amazing people who know how to "relak their body" and have fun amidst this chaos. So just a fair warning to everyone, once we're back to the new normal, think twice before booking Sinag Hostel. Essentially, they will give you the best island experience that y'all will dig to stay longer and maybe, beat my 75 days (and counting) stay.

Oh my, so much to say and then again, it feels like everything's been said already. So yeah, amazingly social place, wonderful family vibe, Rain's awesome, Suzie's awesome. Perfect place if you travel on your own and wanna meet chill people. I extended my stay obviously, and so did pretty much everyone! Pro-tip : if you make coffee for Rain, she might make it for you the next day.

Absolutely incredible hostel! I only stayed for 4 nights and that is one of my biggest regret, I would have stayed for much longer! The owner and the staff will make you feel like you are part of their family, and there are tons of group activities. During all my time I was experiencing Siargao like a local, and I couldn't be happier. The people I met were also incredible. If you have the chance to book this place, don't hesitate!!

I came to Siargao with the intention of surfing and ending leaving with a whole new group of friends and family for life❣️I had such a wonderful week here and made friends with all the super helpful and kind staff. They made sure I feel welcomed with Family dinner, karaoke and take me to try new and local delicious cuisines, and honestly without their hospitality it wouldn’t make my amazing holiday complete. Even with the incoming typhoon they made sure we feel safe and we stayed together like a real family, sharing home cook meals, songs and just vibing as we literally ride out the storm together. Thank you all so much and I hope to be back on this wonderful island to hang out with you guys soon ❤️

I can’t believe how many friends I made when I stayed here. I ended up staying 3 weeks instead of planned 4 days. This is an amazing place if you are a spontaneous backpacker who wishes to meet new people and make friends! The best part is that it is close to Cloud 9 Surfing Spot which is one of the best surfing spots in the world. One of the highlights of my stay was the Family Dinner Night with the Sinag Fam! Special thanks to the staff who made sure that everyone had a good time and was always ready to help with any questions I had.
